Why should i continue to breath?

It will forever stain this floor
A memory nobody wants
To remember anymore
It hurt the way you left me
And the way you broke my heart
Ten hundred thousand pieces
Jagged and ripped apart
I would have died for you
In fact that is what I did
Without your body by my side
I have no reason to live
Why should I continue to breathe
When my heart only beats for you
But I pray that you will be happy
In whatever else you do
Confused and shaken inside out
The many shades of red
Swimming in my blood and tears
And thoughts inside in my head
It is getting really dark now
And I am feeling so much pain
I hold on to my memories
And try to whisper your name
Soon the pain subsides
And I cannot feel it anymore
I wish I had you with me now
As my head falls to the floor
I am sorry for leaving you this way
But there was no reason to go on
You, my reason for living
Are the reason I am now gone
There is so much you did not see
Parts of me you will never know
Forgive me for taking away that chance
But it is my way of letting go... |
