» Poem: Never Speak Again
Never Speak Again
written by Morbid Angel
02:21 AM 2/6/05
When you're tired of living you just gotta fall asleep,
And dream of never waking up again,
One last chance to scream,
Before I'm dragged back down again.

Into the unknown,
I don't know their names,
Got me feeling all alone,
With nothing but a hand to hold.

And a second can map your future,
And every corner you turn,
Can be the answer to your funeral.
It's where I wanna be.

Watching them cry over what they left behind,
Killing them slowly,
For letting me close my eyes.
And never open them again.

My evil dreams,
Keep taking hold of me,
It's just a living nightmare,
Just wanna fall asleep...

And drift away into the walls of my prison,
Become nothing,
Because nobody listened,
So I'll never speak again.
