Trusting My Fate

And just for a while I'd love it if I could smile, and tell the world how much I love you. I can't forget, but I can try to forgive, is it too much to ask? I just wanna live. With you by my side, tell the world not to hide, behind the shadows of a broken heart. It's not worth the wait, counting down the seconds until the end of time. Trusting my fate, to run away with my mind. And let me take control, fill in the missing pieces of my torn and broken soul, For this one last time it would feel so amazing, I've spent too long now hoping and waiting, for a second chance to fly. Sure, I've got scars, but at least my wounds have healed. |
