» Poem: SO I ASK THIS
SO I ASK THIS
written by GeishaGirl

I know I have the answers to everything I say and do even to myself; I know they lie way back in my dark warped mind. Though I wish I can find them I search and I search everyday for the reason why I can’t be loved, and to why I can't be accepted for who I am. I don't know why others can't accept me. So I ask this.

Why do they think I'm broken?
Why do they think I'm darkened?
Why can't they accept me?

I know I look darkened, but really I'm not, I know I look broken from the outside, I know my reflection looks deceiving but really what's in the inside is all the same as you. I know you're asking questions about yourself image, asking questions why your’ like this, but overall it comes down to your individuality. We are all different. But we're all sheep in the end. So I ask this.

Why can't we all accept each other?
Why do we all put each other down?
Why can't we just all get along?
