Show Me What It's Like To Die
written by Morbid Angel

This morning I got changed out of my life and got dressed into my new skin. I forgot about the past and let the future begin. But then you came along again, showing me what it's like to die again. Guide my skin to the blade and let me bleed, making it easier to digest the emotion you feed. And it was so hard to let go, when you were holding me close, begging me to love you the way I did before. After coming so close to loosing you I love you even more. But I hate feeling like this when I could be free, let me pull away and stop needing me, because I don't need to cry for anybody anymore, spent too long waiting for you and being kicked to the floor. I'm on my knees for the world, too much pressure for a child, I could be so much more then this. Could hurt so much less then this.
