Love for Sleeping Mum

a sign of deep; serene sleep
Turn off the light and TV
"Mum?" it's just a breath,
and again, "Mom?"
"Mommy?"
Leave her be; let her rest
She needs it. |

My mom was asleep on the couch... It was about 12:30 on a school night. I wasn't supposed to be online or even near the computer (I was supposed to be in bed) but she was asleep, what could it hurt to write a poem about her?
