What could've been

The way youd smile at me and your soft gentle touch
I remember when I first saw you it was a feeling like no other
That I wanted you to hold my hand not hers and us 2 be together
You showed me love and happiness with you in my world
Ive been so happy since the first time I called you my boy
Months have passed by and weve had many intimate stories
Doing things no1s heard of and things that have been done in movies
I love you so much yet theres noway to express it
3 words are all I have to say I hope you dont think thats stupid
Over time weve shed tears of anger sadness and happiness
And then wed get back to showing eachother what love is
But then times got bad and bad got to worse
Theres nothing we can do now nothing works
For Christmas and my birthday I got another crack in my heart
All because of what things led to were once again broken apart
2weeks without you in my arms have been unbelievable
My love for you is so big and uncontrolable
If only I had the chance to propose with a ring
Then Id use all my money to give you a happy living
I cant believe that youd hook up so quick with another girl
So now when youd say youd never move on thats another lie
Go ahead be with her theres nothing I can do now
All I know is that I love you and there is no doubt
I shouldve stopped crying and held you when you were close
But at least on your birthday I gave you your white rose
My life has no purpose without you by my side
Now I have no1 to hold everytime that I cry
What we had was so good and an incredible thing
Now I have to go to sleep wondering what couldve been |
