Now your gone, and I know it!

To realize that you were gone.
And that your never coming home.
Tears fell from my eyes years ago.
I watched you slowly lose control from a distances.
We all knew that it would never be the same.
I think that’s why we never talk about it.
The pain of the memories, I don’t know if I can dare it.
I didn’t get my say in good-byes, all I got to do is cry.
Four years you’ve been lost, and I’m still trying to find you.
I can’t make up for lost time, but I know your still here.
Watching over me, I can feel you near me.
You were my angle down here on earth, why did you fly from me?
If I said I was sorry for trying to just forget.
Would you forgive me, take my hand and let me know.
You slipped away.
No one was there to save you.
I cry to this every day, thinking about how much I miss you.
Your smiling face is now in the sky.
You beating heart is the rain that pours down on my life.
But I know you will still forever live on even though your gone. |
