» Poem: Love is dead
Love is dead

Lost and wretched, torn from the arms of mystery. Its now all laid out for all to see. Its now a fallen fallacy. We know that it never last, its a lie, Hell, I even watched it fucking die. Love is dead, go home, cry in your bed. It never existed, what do you think judged you? Just dig into the suffering, let the pain numb the strain. Bleed onto the rose as you write about all the merciless misery. Love is dead, death's bell has rung, come rape me. Take all away, feed me the hatred I need to press on. Hate me, my dreams. Let the reality numb the pain of all this senseless life. Slit your wrist, just anything to find a reason to justify the apathy that's in control of prosperity! Love is dead to me, in my heart, in my life, love is dead, to the very world that surrounds us. Love nothing, love no one. Take up a new occupation, load a fucking gun. Time to have some real fun. Without any hesitation, we can let one ride, out of the chamber down the barrel into the brain. Here's something to think. How about you break out the knife, let the edge into flesh, let it sink. Watch the skin break, watch it bleed, can you feel it? The irrepressible need? Love is dead, in and out of my head, love is dead, even as I dream in bed. Love had its chance, now its dead, so this psychopath says.
