» Poem: not my father |
not my father
written by suicide_penguin05:06 PM 2/11/05I can't believe you have the nerve to call yourself my father
Saying I am everything to you, then breaking me down even further
I can't believe you treat me like I am nothing, and yell at me for being who I am
You treat me like a slave, I am surprised you even remember my name
I was born into a trap of insults and cold hearted lies
And you wonder why I have tears in my eyes?!
You're so blind you can't see past the yelling and fights
You're so cold you make me suffer through the pain filled, endless nights
You're not my father, you're nothing to me at all
So don't look at me, don't talk to me, don't even call
Just stay out of my life, stay far away
Leave for good, you're no longer welcomed to stay
Don't say my name, or say you love me
You're not my father anymore and never will be |
