fallen once again

i have fallen once again
into this greying world
of distraught sin and sadness.
i've had my time to think,
my time to heal,
but it was all a lie,
nothing has changed.
never have i been so together,
yet as scattered and alone
as i feel now.
the sky is tumbling down
upon my terminated sanity.
brought down to my knees
by this aching loneliness,
i'm so vulnerable,
peircing shards of me
dispersed amidst these ashes,
dark glowing embers
of the not so distant past.
i do not think so clearly now,
i'm forgetting how to live
without the sharpness of the pain
chained to my hollow soul.
i have fallen once again. |
