Sweet Angel Valentine

When you were too far away to touch,
And now that I'm beside you,
I fear that it's too much.
A heart is no substitute for a huge mistake,
Saying that you love me will not make up for this,
It took so long to make,
And now you have destroyed us.
But I know it's not your fault,
You don't even know that it's over,
I don't want my wounds to sting with salt,
So we'll spend this one last day together.
Sweet angel valentine,
Have your gift,
And give me mine.
Just don't fall in love again.
I'm tired of having to mould us,
A relationship made of dust,
A secret that you don't know,
Don't let lust turn into love.
Sweet angel valentine,
Whats the point in carrying on,
When it hurts for me to kiss you,
But still you're holding on.
This one day made of stone,
We'll be in each others arms,
I don't want to touch you,
You're cold, way too cold. |
