hello again

No distant cousin, long lost friend
I just stopped by to say hello
And then goodbye before i go
I'll leave this person I've come to be
This life's a dream, a fantasy
I can not think, i can not feel
Running round upon my wheel
That keeps me going every day
Stuck in this endless shade of grey
That swamps my thoughts and clouds my mind
And makes myself so hard to find
And so i choose to leave you all
Because when i try i only fall
And get back up bruised and battered
Hopes and dreams severely shattered
A plaster on each and every part
Of my scarred and bleeding heart
When all the patching up is done
And slowly watching as the sun
Sets upon my final breath
Leaving life and into death
The place where i shall remain
And can never say hello again |
