» Poem: Just a girl
Just a girl
written by suicide_penguin

You know me now
Im not afraid
But do you know
Im just a girl

Youve seen my face
So many times
So why am i
Still just a girl

I could be so much
I know i can
Its holding me down
Being just a girl

As time passes
I try and try
Why cant i not be
Just a girl

Why cant i be more
There is so much
That i could be if i wasn't
Just a girl

I could fly so high
I could leave this place
Just take me away from being
Just a girl

So this girl she sits alone again
The knife her only friend
It soothes the pain of being
Just a girl
