Arise from my darkness

My mind awakens.
My hands are shaking.
These dreams have become far to real.
Reaching for water by my side.
Taking a drink with images flowing through my head like a movie real.
I could swear it was me that did it, I went through with it yes, kill.
Looking around after lighting a candle, I come to find a lifeless body at my feet.
Upon the foot of my bed, a woman lay pale and dead.
Not a breath in her, it was true! All the things I had seen!
It was death she had met with me! Here!
My anger must have been out of control.
My mind started racing.
I stood to get around the room, but found myself constantly pacing.
What to do?
Only one thing to left now, dispose of the evidence.
Damn me!
And curse this evil inside that caused my elapse into violence.
Within my sight was a dead woman from earlier that night!
Swiftly I devised a plan.
Picking up a hacksaw, I went to work in the bathroom.
In the tub she was strewn, gore and blood everywhere in the surrounding gloom.
In my mental state, a voice did call deep within the hidden space of my mind.
I thought surely I was doomed.
As I listened to him tell me of these other valid and violent things we could do.
It was my murdering malice from me he drew.
After collecting what was left of the corpse I placed it into a garbage bag , I traveled miles away and tossed it into a dumpster throwing it away as easily as a woman would throw away a used rag.
On the drive back home, I was sweating, what a mess.
Nothing I could do to recompense.
Left with this sudden urge to cause more havoc, do more deeds that were ruled by utter violence.
The voice lead me into a viciousness I had never known.
Guiding me to a serial killers throne.
No longer was I a man. But a demon with a decadent plan.
I am a monster now, simply out for the thrill of murder. |
