forever immortalized
written by trulybroken5710:56 PM 2/18/05forever immortalized in a place
devoid of light and laughter,
chained to our misery,
they cannot make us forget.
what a sad and sullen garden
this place we make our home,
where ashes line the paths,
like hundreds of eyes
watching as we fall,
slowly.......
slowly.......
and soon they'll all remember
how locked inside we are,
how isolated and alone,
living in this painful place,
a castle filled with screams,
cobwebbed and dusty, forgotten with time,
the padlocked gate has rusted away,
now swaying in the wind.
an awful mess of decay,
this condemning house we live in,
all alone,
screaming to ourselves,
hoping for redemption, peaceful silence,
but still the silence deafens us,
queiting our mournful screams
with such suppressing nothingness.
we are locked inside,
forever immortalized in our minds. |

Some days you get a lot of comments and others ya don't, but since you asked nicely, I'll comment for you. This was really great. You did a nice job with everything. It sounded great and the topic is really depressing, but really great at the same time. Keep it up! :) |
