silent screams

hand down my bleeding throat.
waiting for the answer,
praying for a happy note.
pain burns in the pit of my stomach,
just to remind me that it lingers.
my soul screams inside of my body,
passing from my head to my fingers.
Everyone stares,
not noticing their eyes.
disgust pouring out in their pity.
cutting into me like bloody knives.
burning through me as swallowed.
can you hear me dying?
listen to me scream.
Living in this body,
screaming out to breathe.
oh, how i pray for beauty.
my souls about to leave.
do you understand?
understand razors to wrists?
have you seen my diary,
and the many prayers it lists.
The picture is beginning to fade,
no longer is it magic.
there is no beauty in these eyes.
sights of the world are tragic.
Everyone stares,
not noticing their eyes.
disgust pouring out in their pity.
cutting into me like bloody knives.
burning through me as swallowed.
can you hear me dying?
listen to me scream.
I'll never cry in your presence,
cant show you that I'm weak.
rip me out of this pathetic skin,
stitch my swollen mouth so i can't speak.
you think you understand.
no, you'll never see.
you can never feel this wound.
never feel me as i bleed.

listen closely handsome,
listen to the silent scream.
reach into my helpless heart,
and rip it clear on out of me.
listen to me die..
