» Poem: Choking On You
Choking On You
written by Morbid Angel

I'm choking on you, because you seem to mean the world to me. With you around, so hard to breathe. I keep hearing your perfection rip through my soul, again a heart found in someone so cold. If I touched you now I might just explode. And take the world away with me, for once second if you kiss me, I might just die for you. What am I waiting for, the seconds keep ticking by, what exactly am I looking for, searching through my mind. It's way too easy to find you, there must be some mistake, it seems so easy to love you, to be in your arms once again. And nobody else can see it, what it is I see in you, nobody can understand, how I need you like I do. Suddenly I'm crawling, to your feet I'll wait, it somehow beats falling, and at least I got a smile on my face. Who cares if you don't understand, I can dream through the night that you do, you can never stop me dreaming, of a perfect me and you.
