» Poem: White Canvas
White Canvas
written by lost_and_forgotten
12:54 AM 2/21/05
Memories are painted on this white canvas
And forever that's where they'll stay
The lines on your face and little mistakes
Will never again let me stray

This blinding white canvas is dotted with blue
In respect of a broken heart
A splash of red is thrown in the corner
For two lovers foreced apart

Purple is drizzled here and there
To remind of weeping eyes
And orange is splattered all around
In memory of muffled cries

This snowy white canvas is no longer plain
For now it is colorful and bright
A pretty new picture for all to enjoy
Was created from hatred and spite
