» Poem: These addictions |
These addictions
written by GeishaGirl11:01 AM 2/21/05She stands before the water again
Looking into herself with her sad eyes
They cry tears, true tears,
Her red lips quiver uncontrollably.
She seems to be exhausted
Can’t take in today's efforts
She tries things are on her mind,
Addictions she can't rid
Filthy, disgusting and dishonourable addictions
So she partakes in these addictions
And leaves
She leaves once again
She leaves away from here
She leaves these planes
But only for a little while
She flies high over the clouds she looks down
She’s happy she doesn't want to leave
She’ll never leave the ecstasy
Is oh so too alluring
Out of this reality out of this world
With no worries she keeps on souring high
With the godly ones she is
She awakes to see the faces of love
She's pulled back the shrilling screams echo
She leaves.
She leaves once again
She leaves away from here
She leaves these planes
Forever she'll look down at us. |
