When I get down
written by Genocide Reaper05:53 PM 2/23/05When I get down and think about life, society, and all the fucked up things in this, radical reality. I can't help but turn to the tunes and the bottle. Drown my sorrowful thoughts. Has it ever happened to you? So close to the edge, you're on a toe, can't help the feeling, you just want it all to go. In time it will, then it'll heal. when we die. I'm telling you no lie. I know you can see it in my eye. The truth, that Hell is buried in the heart of the youth. There's nothing we can't do, and nothing to lose, all we can do is gain. YES even from all the fucking pain. Learn to adapt to the virus's new strain. It just takes time. We'll reach the end of the line when we do. Our souls will one day be due, but that doesn't make it now. So don't worry just yet about taking any kind of vow. We can hit our knees after its all said and done, then take a bow. After all, we've got to play out our roles here. Life's a game. No one to blame. |
