Words I Regret

all the words I shared with you
I told you that I loved you
and that I needed you to be near
I regret each day that I spent
thinking of a way for me to be there
for asking you to join me here
and planning what we'd do
I know that I wasn't the only one
who had been untrue through these times
you lied when you said you wanted me
and lied again when you said you cared
If you cared you would have checked in with me
when I said I started to cut again
you wouldn't have blown me of this day
and I wouldn't be rambling like this |
