Wolf Change
written by blackened_rose04:50 AM 2/26/05Empty whispers threw the air
Shadow's creeping gently
Unto this land, who is fair
For you wonder threw it so willingly
Moon shines threw the clouds
As they drift above the earth
The gift on you is bound
For it talks past your worth
The sweet painful change
From skin to beloved pelt
Your eyes now see a new range
This freedom you hadn't felt
The painful crunch of bones
As you begin to change in form
Now its paws above the stones
For a new life in night is born
You part your jaws wide
To sing the lunar song
Now everything from you will hide
As you run while the night is long
Lunar light glows in your eyes
As you hunt for your next victum
The sound of a humans cries
Only tell that they've been taken
The soothing taste of blood
The heat of this tasty flesh
Only to be lost in this wood
For the world is now one less
Divided between loyalties
And your given animal nature
But killing is your specalty
For your now a hunted creature
Running free threw the night
Looking away from humanity
The worlds problems are out of sight
And some also think that about your loyalty
But this night now comes to an end
For you do change forms again
Back to humanity you decend
Only again to remember the worlds pain |
