» Poem: I'll Never Say
I'll Never Say
written by Morbid Angel
07:51 PM 2/26/05
The blood runs faster,
Until your tank is empty.
Your heart beats quicker,
Until you burn away.

Showin' your heart in the white moonlight,
The steps seem smaller inside your mind.
Look up to the stars,
I dare you to make a wish.
Put your trembling hand on your heart,
And wish to be mine.

The whispers in the air seem so secretive,
Your soul keeps falling out so pop it back in.
Beating to the rhythm of your love,
Keeping it in at your bodys own cost,
Looking ahead you see the road is too long.
You might as well be gone,
I promised I'd never say.
