You thought wrong
written by Genocide Reaper03:05 AM 2/27/05Christian, you made me sell out my dignity, my pride, my, integrity, for a false loyalty. Its time you see. Time to set the truth free. I could get away and make it on my own everyday. I don't need you, but you need me. You thought I was weak. Thought I was dumb, you thought I was wrong. Thinking self righteous bullshit again. Here's the surprise, the truth, the ego drain, your pain. That which is my gain. I need you never. Wouldn't hurt me if I didn't see your face ever. Thought your lies were clever. you thought wrong. Been living in a world of denial far too long. Just a codependent parasitic person. Watch as your plans putrefy. It was your control I did crucify. Thought I was destined to fail. Thought I was a train that got derailed. Thought I couldn't live a Holy story to Tell. Thought I would become nothing more than a shell. Thought I'd stay locked in my mental prison cell. You thought wrong. |

I know that feeling from a friend that I had known for 11 years. He started lying to me and making fun of me behind my back because of his insecurity- he hated me branching out to find different friends. Anyways, he still doesn't have a clue and I have long since moved on. Your poem is awesome. |
