» Poem: Walking the lonely road
Walking the lonely road
written by Genocide Reaper

Walking the lonely road can take its toll.
Telling the truth can leave you cold.
Filling the chalice to the rim will make it over flow.
Watch yourself as you watch the children grow.
Keep an eye on everything you know.
If we all took the same path, we'd all go to Hell.
I don't understand why, so many don't accept why we die.
If I gave it too much thought I'd be driven beyond this insanity.
That's why I'm a loner, a loser, a thinker, a winner, and a sinner.
If you don't get what I'm saying.
Then you can join the mob of idiots laughing.
If I never turn my back, they'll never have a chance to stab it.
If I gave up trying, my life wouldn't be poetic.
I might be called for my belief, and my faith a heretic.
But since it makes me happy, I don't give a shit.
I'm on the lonely road, and I'm not out for gold.
I have tried to be bold.
This life of mine, I have placed into a hand carved mold.
This is how it turned out, without anyone telling me which way to go.
So now my secrets out, Iv been alone since birth, now you know.
Surrounded by peer's that never had a drop of faith.
Such a pitiful disgrace.
I'll never let anyone tell me my place.
If you want to dominate my life, then you'll have to remove my face.
I won't stay down forever.
I won't fall to their faithless fever.
Rejected by a world that pretended to care.
I can't see how it happened, since I never wanted to be here.
Not once have I asked since I died to become one of them.
That's why I walk the lone road with the wind.
That's why I'm a loner, a loser, a thinker, a believer, a winner, a sinner.
