Balancing Act

You can't compensate
Harmony is vital
Physical
Mental
Spiritual
So many
Never achieve that balance
We are told that drugs can fix those problems
These voids
We believe that our pain
Will cleanse us
Rid us of the toxins
That pollute our body
We must find it in ourselves
To realize that we are not perfect
We can accept others' help
If we don't
The result will be
The drowning of our very being
Viscious cycles will ensue
So kick the bad habits
Easier said than done.... |
