I Don't Know Why

I tried to help
You did nothing
But scream and welp
I tried to be there for you
I tried to help you out
But when I approached you
You filled my mind with doubt
I wanted to be your friend
And I wanted to be your girl
But now I don't care
Now you've ruined my world
You tore out my heart
You made me cry
You told me that you cared about me too
But now I know that you lied
I hate myself for loving you
I hate myself for being your friend
I hate myself most of all
Because I put us to an end
I had my reasons
I was mad at the time
But now when I wake up crying
I wish that you were still mine
I want to know why you hurt me
I want to know why you lied
I want to at least talk to you
I want you to answer me when I ask, "WHY?" |
