» Poem: Lost For Words
Lost For Words
written by Morbid Angel

In the soul of our love,
We'll keep holding on,
When I'm lieing next to you,
I won't let go until I fall asleep.

And the stars they did fall,
They went right past you,
They never stopped.

We remained in the pages of a story never told,
But you stood out,
When I walked back through those shelves again.
I never closed my eyes.

It kills to die, each time I try,
To erase those words that we both spoke.
It brings me down to the ground,
When I know I let go.

Peel back the faded pages and love me again,
If only you'd admit that the sky did change,
And it wasn't my fault,
That you were on your knees in pain.

Each time I try...
Something else has gone.
Lost for words to describe you,
Stars fall in the storm.
