"Why did You Go?" (please comment)

How many times do I have to tell you,
I hate you, you were never true.
Your like a stranger to me,
its like I dont know you, cant you see?
Your a father that I never had,
a dad I longed to love.
I have no more feelings for a piece of dirt on the floor,
because when you left the anger I thought about more and more.
You left me standing there with a picture in the pooring rain,
and all I felt a pain.
I wanted to run after you and tell you to wait,
but that was my fate.
I now cry myself to sleep some nights thinking about how much I wanted to be like my dad,
and now Im relieved I didnt make that choice, it was bad.
Feeling sorry about my past,
knowing I couldnt make my family last.
And now a time goes on,
I worry about me being gone.
I've tried over and over to die,
but somehow god doesnt want me to try.
I want to kill myself all because of the hurt you gave me,
and knowing I will never me free.

I was really moved by the poem. Tragic, but beautiful. Listening to "Stranger on the Shore" (one of the few old-fashioned songs i like) really helps me get in the mindset to read these poems. Just a random thought.
