Fighting for your title (geno and co.)

Means nothing to the living; nor the dead.
"Poetry, a weapon of mass destruction"
Says the "poet" who needs no introduction.
This invisible crown causes much spite
'Cos with it you place power and might.
But to see you, i bet your a weak sight.
You fall in the bracket of mass contradiction
You talk of destruction and pain affliction.
But these are things you merely fail to do
In this world there are a million fakes just like you.
And so you try, in vain, to acheive respect
But you only get those who fail to take retrospect
You know this, truely you do,
You despise the people who follow you,
Their idle insults and sycophantic twists
Their folly and flaws, i could make lists.
But yet, you try, and insult others to acheive a flock
Those who have independance of mind you choose to mock.
There is no title of a master poet, there is no crown
If there were, my friend you would go down
Down to the peasants, the flock of sheep;
Those who are pale and those who are meek
And as i leave you and your fragile mind
I ascend to the sky and leave you behind. |
