laughing as i'm falling (delusional)

i am hurting so very bad,
but i will hide it all for you.
my life is spinning out of control,
i am so afraid......
i need you.....
but i'll pretend i'm fine,
it gets harder and harder to do everyday,
everyday i sink deeper....
becoming more unreachable.........
you are the only one that gets through.......
it's so bad i can't fake it anymore,
but i will,
as much as hurts inside,
i will do ANYTHING
to never hurt you again,
i will hide myself.......
please.......
see my pain,
as my eyes are spilling over
with bitter, stinging tears,
please hold me now,
i need you....
but i will keep laughing,
laughing as i'm falling,
i'll be okay,
i'll pretend for you,
when i need you so much it hurts,
i will keep laughing..........
catch me
as i stumble and fall,
faster and faster,
i am falling
as emptiness drops to
pieces around me,
i will stand here,
in your delusional laughter,
the smiles i fake for you,
the pain i disguise for you,
don't you see?
it's killing me inside,
when can i be real again?
will you ever catch me?
sometimes i can't stop the tears from falling,
yet you never see them,
for i wipe them away
so my pain will never hurt you.
do you like me like this?
screaming in delusional laughter?
wishing this nightmare will soon end,
i am laughing as i'm falling......... |
