Drinking and thinking

Thinking all the fucking time.
Empty bottles surrounds me in this room.
Alone left to all my foolish gloom.
In thought I hear the phrase "You are doomed."
Call me whatever you please.
Go ahead, make a joke start to tease.
Life is what it is.
Fight back.
Stay on track.
I’ll stray drunk!
Shit, where did the time go?
Its already four in the morning.
Guess I need to pack this up, but my minds racing.
I’m steady pacing.
Still drinking.
Working on my problems.
Working to solve them.
You may never feel this.
I’m sure you’ll understand it after you read it.
I never said I couldn’t love.
I just choose not to, my soul is closed.
Still another wandering fool.
Lost out in the world cold.
Stuck in the rain, no house to return to.
Don’t take me to literally baby.
Its not as bad as it seems.
Though, I’m still thinking.
And drinking.
Sinking deeper into this shit.
I’m just glad I take the time to vent and make it poetry.
But that’s just me.
And some times I look at myself and I’m actually happy.
There’s just so much more I want.
I would come to you, but where will I go when its me you want gone?
Don’t say never.
Because Iv heard that forever.
Still a derelict
Still looking for a place to rest my aching soul trapped in skin. |
