so isolated,locked inside myself,
no one can reach me now,
slowly deteriorating,
touching the ground before me,
bowing down to a deeper force.
gently prying further into my mind,
exposing all of my flaws,
the shattered fragments of my life
lay scattered among the broken,
as hushed, whispered memeories
float softly away from me,
hiding me in the shadows,
forever locked away......
trembling in the darkness,
fear has been burned deep,
cornering me in this bottomless pain,
stopping time.......
destroying me from the inside out.
as i'm lying here, covered in shame
i'm waiting for the end to slip in
and take over me,
dulling this hurtful pain,
numbing all the emptiness.
sinking slowly
into this shallow puddle at my feet,
gasping for air,
this lonliness is suffocating me,
swiftly cutting me off
from all that matters........
so isolated now.......... |
