Absorbing myself
written by GeishaGirl06:39 AM 3/8/05Absorbing myself into the pages of my past, I come to gain and remember every daunting bit. “My Death” “My Demoralize” “My Sins” “My only Shoulder” “My Part” all these written accounts starting with “my”. At one point once unheard of have now resurfaced. They draw a frown on my haunting face, not only a frown but maybe a salty tear. I rip them into tiny insignificant pieces and throw them away. In hope maybe the past will be as insignificant as the pieces. But I can’t let go, the pieces are as I feel, apart of me, I put them back together, maybe in hope the pieces of my past will all fall together. But I know it doesn’t work that way. Things are easier said than done, we all know that, we’ve all heard it before, it’s nothing new. But what is new, is my confusion. Where to start first? Where to look first? Where to go first? What to say first? So many things I don’t understand, the questions, the thoughts, my thoughts are unanswered what are the questions? So many things to search for! In so little time! My time! |

It's a great poem, I like it a lot, the only thing is how it's put in a paragraph form, that kind of made it hard to read, but maybe that's just me.. don't take it too seriously, it was really good, keep it up :) |

Loved the poem.. But, I would have added a word. not only a frown but maybe a salty tear. I rip them into tiny insignificant pieces and throw them away. In hope maybe the past will be as insignificant as the pieces and dissapear. |
