Hiding under your scars

I always wind up hypmotized.
Deceived by all of your lies,
turning cold everyones lives.
The though of maybe knowing,
who you really are.
Sometimes I think that person's showing,
but other times he seems so far.
You hide behind happy thoughts,
even when you want to break down.
You're so scared your real side will be caught,
when there's never a glimpse of him around.
I loved who you were more than you could see,
then you changed on me completely.
You left me here with agonizing pain,
Tear drops on my cheek are stained.
My heart's permenently damaged from what you have done.
If you would've just been honest from day one.
I woulden't have to strunggle to know who you are,
But now the real you is hiding under your scars. |

Hiding under your scars means that everytime something bad happened to him he would hide underneath it and act happy and it real side never was shown.
