My Only Escape

Everything is so jumbled around inside my head
I can't seem to shake this headache,
I can't seem to shake off this pain
Darkness comes to surround me and it incloses me in
I can't breathe right now, my chest feels so heavy
My head seems so small and I feel like it's going to explode
You are my only escape...you help me to get away
Running away only pushes me back to where I started
I sit upon your porch steps and fall to the ground as I slowly die
You are the only person who can revive me
Creeping up right behind this door is this world I could only hope to see
It's filled with all your love with no interruptions
I walk through that door and it was only a fake that took me back though the ninth gate
The door from hell comes back to smack me in the face everytime I turn around
There is always something stopping me from being sane again
Something always pushes me back down
But you are always there to pick me back up
You are my only escape... |
