Too weak

Then they'll go away
Its so hard to pretend, youre happy every day.
Laugh just a little,
So they wont ask whats wrong
Its hard to pretend youre happy, when you havnt been all along.
Say something before they question
Why youre looking sad
Its so hard to hold on to something youve never even had.
You cant tell them whats bothering you,
You see, the story is too much to understand
Its just so hard helping people everyday, and never receieving a helping hand.
The only way to be happy, is with love.
But I cant absorb any of it because Im so numb.
I cant say anything about what I must hide.
I cant let you know my feeligns because its tearing me up inside.
I dont want people to worry about me
I dont want them to sympathize
Cause I hate it when people know how many times Ive cryed.
I see the pain everytime I blink,
And when people know Ive cried, it just shows Im weak.
However, I cant be weak for people around me,
I have to let them know Im strong
But this accummulating pain has been a hurting way too long.
I just dont have faith in myself,
And Im very insicure
When I think Ill do good at something, I think again, then Im not as sure.
Then just for a second
I turn to realize
That someone else feels my pain
I see it in their eyes
I hear their silent screams
How many times they have asked why
And how many times they questioned if its not worth it to die.
When it seems that finnally theres hope
And someone else it at the end of their rope,
All of a sudden it is taken away.
And Ill have to live like this for another day.
They are scared to help me
Maybe I am too
Because of all the things I ask you to do.
Maybe we just dont want to get hurt again, and its too much to think.
Than the feeling comes back, that tells me Im too weak. |

I hope you like my poem. Comment Please. This poem is overall just about putting on a smile everyday, when deep inside youre killing yourself. Then you find someone just like you, and that hope is taken away because neither of you want to be dissapointed. Hope You like it.

| i keep a list of all my favorite writers on here on my desk at home...and before this poem....you were already on it. this poem just goes to show that you deserve this spot on my favorites list. Seriously....i love this poem. |
