Mass emotions

Consumed in this mixing of emotions.
This dictations of conclusions.
Hatred, pain, pride, paranoia.
Insanity.
This is what’s left of me.
Can't you see?
I'm a mass of matter.
An egotistic emotion.
Yet at the same time I'm ruled by empathy.
It takes over again, the apathy.
Careless, giving the finger to anyone that stares.
Fuck it all the voice in the dark speaks.
Take it back, the conscious I learned to drown shrieks.
Far out of line.
Yet right on time.
Can you catch the message I'm shooting?
Who is this man inside I am diluting?
Did you even realize its myself I'm explaining?
Do you think I'm exaggerating?
Or do you finally see the complication?
Rage, fate, love, me in a cage.
Eloped with evil, engaged to heresy.
I became the King of self inflicted severity.
Want to touch the scroll sealed with blood?
Its got a text of ancient agendas.
Its really deep inside my heart bleeding onto the ashes of my life.
And the last bright cinder.
Here it is, read it, study it, scan it, feel it.
Its how I am.
Who I am.
What I am.
And that's all I am.
Confused and consumed by this compelling priority.
The nameless one in my dreams haunting me nightly.
Seeking me out every minute of every hour viciously.
Touch this truth as it slips out of the noose.
No longer shall it hang in surrender.
It will force itself into the open mind deeper. |
