» Poem: Broken ring
Broken ring
written by Genocide Reaper
11:46 AM 3/10/05
In two pieces it lays.
I cherished it in more than one way.
Holding it now in my finger tips.
I can still make it fit.
But soon, if I shake a hand it will fall.
In the past I wore it.
My good luck charm, brought luck, a good bit.
Worthy of being my favorite item at the time.
The disaster of what happened is still in my mind.
A reflection of the incident still swirling, yes I remember the crime.
She broke it.
Being a bitch.
She broke it.
I couldn't fix it with a stitch.
She broke it.
And I loved it.
My crowned skull.
My greatest emblem.
One considered everything but dull.
Molded from a bullet.
Shaped into an image as I have already described.
The simple symbol with a circle.
Broken.
Never to fit correctly again.
Forever I shall keep its remains.
