Could You Just...

You claimed to understand and said you knew.
I didn't want to hurt you and how did you reply?
You said that I didn't and you would help me get by.
I opened up, shared it all, and what did you say?
That you were proud and that distance is okay.
Could you just for once be a jerk to me?
Could you just tell me to go to hell?
I don't know why you bother with me.
I have basically said "I hate you"
Yet you stand around and wait for me. |
