Another Fallen Tear
written by sarah1008710:52 PM 3/11/05Wipe your eyes from those untenable tears
They are for your own sake, creating your own lake
Of self-justification. You're too acrid to feel for another.
The loss of a mother, sister, brother
Is nothing unless its you.
So dry those welling eyes,
that I virulently despise,
your tears are little more than what a callous man's pist
Too easily made, like cum to a flick of the wrist.
Your "consummate" picture of self means nothing here
When watching those dying in your fear.
Your efforts are futile, give up while ahead
Or settle to thy knees, and mourn for your own death. |
