» Poem: The laments of a lonely drifter
The laments of a lonely drifter
written by GeishaGirl
06:44 AM 3/12/05
The hearts of many have broke before me,
I know that I am not the first.
The truth I find so easy to see,
Beyond the valley of lies.
Perhaps one day I will feel special again,
Amongst the cardboard faces, bland,
I wish to the doom of my essence, when,
Oh when will I feel the clammy touch of fate.
