» Poem: lifelong negativity |
lifelong negativity
written by GeishaGirl07:29 AM 3/12/05A beauty sheltered in lifelong negativity
The pictures are taken but remain colourless
Capturing splendour seems rather hollow
To no avail I try to escape these negative words
But I appear to be imprisoned I seem a slave
A slave that I am to these shadowed words
But I know there is to be more tear shedding
Somehow I know there is to be more blood spilling
I’ll intoxicate myself into my unwanted conscious
A world where the sun doesn’t rise nor has the chance to set
Mutilation is not a proposed proposition
A domain where integrity is vain and pacifists die in shame
A young lady in a lifelong battle with pessimism
Endlessly trapped in this pitiable reflection
I want to rip myself from this blemished skin
My purity no longer exists or has it ever?
What lies within is now stained, a heart bleeding
Thoughts of bleeding myself dry will always linger
But I always beg to differ it’s just a sense
Something along the lines of ‘oh shit I fucked up time to die’
A sense that we all seem to get, the cowards way out
I see it as a wakeup call to a lazy cunt with no life
Welcome to my boot camp mother fucker
A place where there is no time to fuck up
You go down with the birds singing
You getup with the birds singing |
