tale of life(plz comment)

In fact I know Him well.
The Man has nothing special 'gainst me,
Though He holds the chords of my sorrowed knell.
I am afraid I'll not live enough
To have a tale to tell
When Death comes 'round that one last time
Midst the tolling of a bell.
For when Death and I
Journey the long walk home,
I'll need a story to please the Man
For as long as We may roam. |
