» Poem: caskets should not come in small sizes
caskets should not come in small sizes
written by suicide_penguin
12:33 PM 3/12/05
Lives that have only been whispered should not be cut
Before being allowed to shout
And babes should not be ripped
From mothers yearning arms.
Infants cries should not be silenced
Before turning into laughter
And newborn hope should not die
Before it spreads its wings.
The scared and confused should not be lost
Before gaining imagination
And the joy of life should not be snatched
Before it is understood.
Grief should not ever overtake
A young mothers heart,
And caskets should not come
In small sizes.
