Dear Brother of mine..

I’ll watch you pack your life away.
Does this mean your leaving the past behind you?
If so am I going to be forgotten as well?
I tell nothing on how I feel about it all.
When you remind me I shake my head okay.
Then I just try to walk away very slowly.
You used to help me make it through all the rainy days.
What will I do when I can’t see the sun in the sky anymore?
What if I fall tomorrow, and your not there?
There’s a millions things I’m scared of and I don’t know what I’ll do.
You were my big brother, but now I feel that I don’t know you.
Do you wonder if I want you to stay?
Can’t you see that I only want out just like you.
Made me a promise, that you’d never leave me here alone.
Yet that’s what your doing, you already lied to me.
I may not cry in front of you, but know that I cry when the thought of you is leaving.
Tell me is this how it’s going to be, you get up and go.
And I watch you walk away from me, so I just want to shut my eyes and never see.

I never had my father be there, it was always you!
Took care of me and I think that’s why your such a great manr today.
Used to pick me up from school cause you knew I hated it!
Took me around when you where hanging with your friends.
I don’t know, I thought of you as my hero.
But never did I think that my hero would leave me here blinded.

Nothing in this world sucks more then to say good-bye.
To someone who was always there for you.
You took me to my first concert, cause you saw what it meant to me.
Always found ways to make me so happy.
I feel so evil for saying I that I feel I don’t know you.
You’re my big brother and I will always love you no matter where you are.
Near or far, you’ll see just how much I am glad that I had you in my life.
I know you’ll still help me make it through all the rainy days.
If I can’t see the sun you’ll point it out for me.
I know that if I fall tomorrow, in my heart somehow I know you’ll be there for me.
Millions of things that I am scared of yes I’ll never know just what to do.
Your still my big brother and I never would have made it this far with out you! |
