I cut

Past the hurt and sadness
I cut deep where no one searches
Way beyond this madness
I cut somewhere
Where no one lies
I cut somewhere
That no one dies
I cut somewhere
I can’t be hurt
I cut passed
The part of me that’s alert
I cut so deep
Into my veins
I cut so deep into me
Where tears are rain
I cut somewhere
That can’t be found
Where everyone sleeps
And there is no sound
I cut to a place
Where nothing is said
A place in me
That isn’t dead |
