» Poem: Death is painful
Death is painful
written by suicide_penguin

Death is painful, it cuts like a knife
but some of our deeper cuts come from life
yea, death may cause a few sheded tears
but life can mean just many wasted years
spent on something way too small
like waiting by the phone, for some kind of call
when calls are coming from all around you, don't you hear the ring?
you do but you're afraid to answer, for the truth might sting
you're afraid it's awful. perhaps a death
and there are so little there for you, because they all left
who could blame you? you've been through so much.
but no one cares. they cant spare a hug
you have no comfort. no pillow to squeeze
and your tears are always running at ease
is someone going to wipe them? or shall they stay
you look so miserable, day after day
now i want you to force a smile
and hold it there for a little while
you never know, your face might stay like that!
and then you;d have to be happy and that a fact
because when you smile, the world smiles back
but thats your problem for a smile is what you lack
but i want you to know I'm here for you when you need me
because i know whats it's like when you have nobody
