...i hurt you...

And look at the stars
And think of what spring is
On Venus or Mars
I watch as the coulds
Go drifting by
And think of your face
As you silently cry
I smell the sweet roses
You've given to me
And think of how happy
You used to be
I remember your song
You lulled me to sleep
I remember your love
Your trust I would keep
I see you now
Out the corner of my eye
As you hurry on past
I let out a sigh
This sigh is of hatred
I have for myself
For hurting you so
In spirit and health
I broke your sweet heart
Now I want to die
I just want you back
So I sit here and cry
I cry in this pillow
That smells just like you
So I walk to the window
And look at the view
A star is falling
Across the sky
So I make a wish
I want you to try
Try to forgive me
And love me once more
And I will be good
And hurt you no more
